Traffic speeding violations increased by 60% in May 2017

Directorate for Roads of Viet Nam (DRVN) published statistics on traffic speeding violations in May 2017. Traffic speeding violations increased by 70.5% over April 2017 and increased 79.3% over the same period of 2016 with a total of 104,067 cases. 78,49% vehicles have tracking device.

In May 2017, the Department of Transportation has given 2,755 speeding fines, 2,611 license suspensions. In 5 months of 2017, the Department of Transport has given 9,540 fines, 8,662 license suspensions.
