US Department of Commerce reduced anti-dumping shrimp tariff to US with Sao Ta Seafoods JSC

According to Sao Ta Seafoods JSC  (A member of The PAN Group code: PAN), the company has received the final notice from the US Department of Commerce (DOC) about the 12th period of review ( PR12) of anti-dumping shrimp in the US. Accordingly, the tariff for shrimp products of Sao Ta Seafoods JSC exported to the US in period Jan 2016 to Jan 31, 2017 are subject to an antidumping duty of 4.58%. The final tariff is much lower than the preliminary rate (25.76%), as well as lower than the tariff applied POR11 (4.78%). This tariff also applies to the remaining 30 Vietnamese shrimp company that are defendants of the lawsuit.

Sao Ta Chairman Ho Quoc Luc was quoted that DOC’s inspection team had reviewed the documents and facilities of the company. Besides this, Sao Ta had provided all the required information.
